Gashapons
Shopping in Akihabara today and noticed this place. Lots of these coin operated capsule dispensing machines called "Gashapons" (wiki link). There are literally aisles and aisles of these things. Mostly Japanese anime machines, but there are some Disney and Peanuts machines too.
